KQAR Memberships Dues, Applications and signed forms for the 2026-2027 parade season must be completed by 9PM on Monday, June 1st. Returning Membership dues are $695.00.

There will be a 1-week (7-Day) grace period, until the following Monday evening, at 9PM on June 8th. During this 1-week period, there will be a $250 late fee added onto the total dues amount, making them $945.00. This must be included in the online credit card payment and/or mail-in check. If your check is post marked after June 1st, and does not include the $250, you will not be in good standing. If your mail-in check has a post marked date of anything after June 8th (even if it has the $250 added), it will be returned, and you will not be included in the '26-‘27 Parade Season roster.

No late excuses will be accepted; if there is something the board needs to be aware of, please contact them directly before the due date at 2010kqar@gmail.com.

Remember that Hold Harmless & Bylaw forms must also be signed to be in good standing by the due date.

Birdie Membership Applications:

“Birdie Membership”, a way for Krewe Members to “retire” without removing themselves from the Krewe entirely. There are requirements and bylaws to go along with this membership level – read below to understand if this is right for you!

The Birdie Annual fee will be $250. Annies will be able to:
1. Stay on social media and newsletter to be “in the know” still.
2. Be able to purchase Cannon Blast tickets when members do.
3. Attend all Happy Hours.
4. Purchase Swag & come to sales.
5. Participate in 2 parades: the Children’s and PRIDE (these require no costume, as only Annies are permitted to wear costumes).
6. Receive a special yellow “Birdie” armband.
7. Join us for Parade Day Breakfast
8. Participate in volunteer opportunities.

We are so excited to have you. At this event, we will review "everything you need to know" with you and your Sponsor!

You'll have the opportunity to meet the Board Members, buy some new KQAR swag, talk about costumes and hear about all the fun ahead!

Please mark your calendars, as this night is a requirement for New Members & their Sponsor. Returning Members will be allowed to attend after orientation presentation (@ 730PM) for socializing and shopping!

Light apps will be available, as well as a cash bar.

This year, there’s no theme to follow—just a fabulous excuse to dress beautifully, gather joyfully, and enjoy an elevated evening filled with culinary delights, signature cocktails, live music, dancing, and plenty of Gasparilla sparkle.

Who can participate?

This is for any KQAR member and their child/children (ages 3-12 only). To participate in the 2025 Gasparilla Children's Parade, children 6 and under must ride float and all children MUST be accompanied by an adult. It is a long day for our little Annies & pirates so please plan accordingly - iPads, coloring books, additional snacks are always a good idea, just in case. This year there will be chicken finger trays and snacks on each float for participants, along with coolers of water provided by KQAR. We are float #s (stay tuned for details) - Make sure to let everyone know where we are in the lineup so they can look out for us!
